  • I started going to first Assembly years ago when I was an addict seeking recovery. I just went BC I was in treatment and it was a way to get outta there for a while, a change of scenery I guess u could say! After going a few times I felt something... Almost as if they were talking to me! I could relate to A Lot of things that was being taught! Not one person there judged me, and people were so nice and willing to help me get back on my feet. They became sort of a second family and i could go to Pastor Harris about anything. So after I was out of treatment I still had this urge to be a part of that family at first Assembly. Be part of something greater! Now years later I have my own family I started and my husband is going through a rough patch in his recovery, and also trying to stay strong for his 3 children and family, so I thought... You know, what about going back to Church? He and his oldest daughter, who is also going through a tough time in highschool, agreed...let's go to church tomorrow morning! So I can't wait to walk back through those doors and Thank God for all the blessings in my life today and how for showing me the way! Love this Church so much I now wish to get my two month old daughter baptized in this wonderful house of God!

  • I have never been a member of this church but the thing about this church is you don't have to be a member to feel like a part of their family. I used to take my daughter to the festival on October 31st for good, safe wholesome fun. My older teen-ager boys would go along and they had just as much fun as she did. I am egg-sited about the Easter activities and I know my daughter will have a blast. Thank you
